Marie and I shared our first wedding anniversary yesterday. I can hardly believe that it has been a whole year since all the running around of the wedding. That whole day went by so quickly, though it was a great time. We had thought about sneaking away to the beach or something for a long weekend. Instead we went for a good meal and a movie! I had to cut Marie’s dinner into little bits so she could eat it.
For those who don’t know, Marie broke her arm last Sunday. She had surgery on Wednesday to put a metal plate in her arm and it is held in with four metal screws. I’m sort of excited about having a bionic wife. She’s coping rather well and has held up this weekend nicely. It was a scary time, but all is well. She just doesn’t have use of her right hand. It is going to be an interesting start to the school year.
We still don’t have our wedding album! But it should be in the works and coming soon.
