Jenn threw a lovely baby shower for us in January. It was nice to get together and socialize with friends, make silly guesses about how big the baby will be. Quote of the day from Jeff: “Is twenty pounds big for a baby?” Marie would say yes! Thanks to everyone who came for some really nice presents.
Well, ready or not the baby is going to be here any time. Things at Carmen Drive are starting to get exciting. The nursery is all done (shh… don’t tell Marie, I do have one small job left, replace the air return grill) and we have at least a starter batch of clothing in gender ambiguous colors to get the baby started off. It’s hard not knowing what the sex is, but we are excited for the surprise.
